This week we are all going to be starting a ‘Speedy Readers’ programme. This is to improve the speed and fluency in which we read. We are also reading and responding to non-fiction texts.
We read two books last week: Elephants and Tigers .This week we are reading ‘The Environment’ and ‘The World’s Deadliest..’
In science we have begun learning about micro-organisms.
On Friday we turned the classroom into a laboratory and dressed for the part!
On Thursday we are making African crafts from recycled materials…please bring in milk cartons and squash bottles and we’ll show you what we can turn them into!

Maths : Please complete the Monday-Thursday mental maths problems. We do the Friday assessments in class.
Spelling : Please learn the list of new words (write out at least 2 times in the booklet)
