This week will begin practising for our Christmas play: Christmas around the World.
We will be beginning to learn about some of the Christmas customs from the countries in our play.
Caledurnia: The Movie
In groups we have been busy working on a stop-frame animation based on our history topic. This involves making plasticine characters, making small film sets, writing and recording dialogue. We have also been learning how to use the Zu-Animation software for editing : copy, pasting and adding sound files. Click on the image above to find out more about stop-frame animation.
In maths this week we will be looking for patterns in the 3, 6 and 9 times tables, learning how to multiply larger numbers by standard and grid methods…and finding out more about the properties of 3D shapes.
We look forward to showing you some of our work on display and in our jotters from this term on Tuesday:)
