I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a happy new year to you all !
We are starting our new topic this week- Connecting Classrooms: Kenya. The topic planner shows the main focus of learning for each subject.
In maths this week we will be revising and extending what we know about fractions and finishing off some work on 2D/3D shapes too.
We have traditional Scottish music lessons on Mondays for the next 5 weeks, German will continue on Thursdays too until Easter.
We have a new homework activity grid. This might be a bit confusing at first because are only starting our new topic this week.
Homework for Friday 15th January
Maths :Please complete the Monday-Thursday mental maths problems. We do the Friday assessments in class.
Spelling : Please learn the list of new words (write out at least 2 times in the booklet)
Connecting Classrooms-Kenya: Begin to work on your first activity from the grid: remember to ask for help or resources if needed. (hand in date Monday 25th January)
If you have any questions about homework or about what your child is learning this term, please contact me at the school.
