Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays J . We are back to our regular classroom routines this week.
On Wednesday we are taking part in a survey with Donald the ranger called ‘the soil beneath our feet’. The survey is taken three times a year around the UK and is to collect any evidence on climate change. Click on the link above to find out more.
This term in maths we will be concentrating on solving multiplication and division problems. So for this week the 6 minute times table challenge is back for homework. We will do a baseline assessment on Tuesday so then we can measure our progress.
We will be continuing with the Caledonia topic for the first three weeks of Term 2. We will also be starting a United Nations Challenge Badge ‘ Ending Hunger’ which links very well into our Connecting Classrooms- Kenya project.
On Friday is our school Hallowe’en Party…in our writing lessons we will be writing some spooky descriptions !
