We had an excellent Roman Day last Thursday. A big thank you to Mrs Morrison for organising this for everyone and well done to everyone for your costumes and character presentations.
We have (almost) finished our Caledonia project. This week our hill fort ‘Caledurnia’ is under attack from a Roman legion…we will be writing dramatic eye-witness accounts! Last week the Picts were busy designing and carving their stones…click on the stone to find out more about what the Picts carved.
In maths this week we will be learning standard methods for multiplying larger numbers and the connection between the 2, 4 and 8 times tables.
On Thursday afternoons Michelle, a language student from the French/German border will be teaching us conversational German. We have stated to learn greetings and numbers to 10. Michelle is teaching at the high school until Easter.
Orienteering is still taking place on Thursday afternoon too.
