We had an excellent afternoon organised by the P7s last Friday. The Nepal earthquake appeal raised £140- thank you everyone for supporting this.
A busy week in and out of school this week. On Tuesday David Hunter (Eden Court Outreach Drama worker) will be in school. Our class will be working with him on the topic of 20th Century history. After school David has offered a drama class 3.5- 4.15 pm .
Wednesday will be marshalling for CWC runners- please wrap up well ! In the evening we are hosting a K’NEX challenge egg race event in the village hall starting at 8pm. The proceeds will go towards the Nepal appeal.
Thursday is the Target Zero beach run. The winning trophies for closest boy/girl estimated times are now engraved with a new logo to commemorate the late John Walker . A competition was held during the P6-S2 Place2B project and a final design was made incorporating three pupil designs from Gemma, Jessica and Alan.
On Thursday evening our friends at Scourie Primary School will be hosting a BBQ in the village hall. Starting at 7pm – I’ve been hearing about shoulders of pork slowly cooking for 12 hrs in IrnBru for pulled pork :)
….and on Friday P7 have their fifth and final build day for the Goblin Car project.
