We are planning a trip to the Pictish Wheelhouse and the Souterrain above Loch Eribol for Weds. 9th September. This week we will be learning about life in a Caledonian (Iron Age) village through our reading and writing lessons. Click on Maeve to learn more about this time period. (The Roman soldier from last weeks blog also has lots of useful links.)
Mrs Morrison has begun an introduction to Roman life (reading, writing and technology). In science we will be investigating friction on different surfaces by carrying out fair-test investigations which require accurate timing.
In maths we are working on solving addition and subtraction problems both written and mental.
On Wednesday afternoon we are joining Kinlochbervie Primary School for a dance session in the high school.
