Jambo ! from Kenya! On the road from Nairobi to Nakura we saw Zebra grazing, baboons, Masai tribespeople moving there goats and and cows...lots of interesting birds including storks and beefeaters 😄We stopped at viewpoint to see the Great African Rift Valley. Tomorrow I am heading to Olengurone which is a two hour drive into the forest with a teacher from Shetland. We are going to staying with a Kenyan family and visiting primary schools.
As part of the British Council's Connecting Classrooms programme I will be joining a group of teachers from across Scotland on a visit to the Rift Valley region of Kenya this month.
We will be visiting primary schools and working with Kenyan teachers. I hope to set up a partnership school with our primary school.
The nearest city is Nakuru. During the visit I'm going to try and send a number of blogs to this website.

The comments will be open so you can post your questions about school life, daily life...wildlife in Kenya and I'll try to get some Kenyan children to answer them...that's the plan:)
