We were delighted to meet Jane and Agnes, two teachers from Kenya today...and they came to Durness Diggers!
The teachers are spending a week at Kinlochbervie High School as part of the Crofting Connections project.
Today we planted out cabbages and cauliflowers.
We learnt about 'earthing-up' tatties to stop them going green and to protect them.
We planted some more Scottish varieties of tatties:
Shetland Blacks, Arran Victory, Highland Burgendy Red, Maris Peers,
